We provide after-school enrichment Bible study classes for those who would like to dig deeper in God's Word. We have a local Bible worker or pastor come to conduct these studies. We also provide opportunities for students to receive baptismal studies if they would like to prepare for baptism.
Drama is a program where students learn many things - public speaking, memorization, teamwork, expression, and so much more. These are life skills that help prepare students for their future. Our school has put on many productions throughout the years including: "Something's Happening" (both Christmas and Easter), "Fiddler on the Roof", "Esther", "Annie", "Jungle Book", "Best Christmas Pageant Ever", "Music Man", "Sound of Music", Christian Comedy Night", "Give My Regards to Broadway", "The First Leon", "Camp Goolamackee", "Pilgrim", and most recently, "Come Messiah, Come".
Some years we do a full production that involves every child in the school and some years we have a smaller production that involves students who sign up for the club. Practices are mostly after school.
"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." I Corinthians 10:31
Our school has been blessed with a collection of puppets. We have a group that meets during lunch breaks to practice utilizing puppets to create Bible stories and stories with a spiritual meaning. We perform children's stories at the local constituent churches. We have also done chapels for various preschools in the area.
Students who would like a challenge might be interested in sermon class. This is an opportunity to learn how to put together a sermon for a church service. Once students have find-tuned their sermon, we have them preach in our local constituent churches on Sabbaths when our school visits the local churches to put on their service. What a great way to be a witness!
