School is off to a great start.  Friday night we had our first dedication service in which we prayed for God's blessings on our families, our school, teachers and the coming year. 

Band will start next week.  Ms. Vonda began piano this week and our choir is busy learning their music for their first church service.

Information on the art contest will be coming out this week.  This will be a contest in which K-8 may participate to win the top prize of $30 and the priviledge of having their design printed on our jogathon shirts this year.  The theme for the Fall Fair/Jogathon is Cruising Around the World.  They will have two weeks to complete their designs and all entries will be on display at the Fall Fair. 

Watch for information on our coming  "mouse trap race car" competition.  This will be the first year that Linda Vista will host the event.  We plan to promote it to schools throughout the area.  Stay tuned for details.
